When you have the talent, you do not need lyrics. Maybe Detektivbyran cannot sing. I do not know. I do not care. There are no lyrics in their songs, there is only the music. And when I listen to it, if I were not that concerned by what the others might think, I would cry.
Hey reader ! I know who you are : you came a long way from all over the audioblogosphere. You were the first to see Arcade Fire live, the first to listen to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. And Beirut, the new mp3blogs’ baby, you love him, right ? Well, if you like Beirut’s accordion, you would love Detektivbyran. I know, no one has written a post about them until now, so you remain doubtful. I know, Anders Flanders, Jon Ekström and Martin Molin, the three members of this band from Gothenburg, are a bit older than Zach Condon (aka Beirut). But, I know something else : they are much more interesting than him.
PS : no need to search : Detektivbyran has not released any single, nor EP nor album. It’s a brand new band !

Quand vous avez le talent, peu importe les paroles. Peut-être que Detektivbyran ne sait pas chanter. Je ne sais pas. Je m’en fous. Aucune parole ici, juste de la musique vagabonde. Et quand je l’écoute, si je ne me souciais pas autant de ce que les autres peuvent penser, je pleurerais.
Eh lecteur ! Je sais qui tu es : ça fait déjà quelques temps que tu traines tes guêtres le long de l’audioblogosphère. Tu es le premier à avoir vu Arcade Fire en live, le premier à avoir écouté Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Et Beirut, le nouveau chouchou des mp3blogs, tu l’adores, hein ? Et bien, si tu aimes l’accordéon de Beirut, Detektivbyran est fait pour toi. Je sais, personne n’a encore parlé d’eux donc tu doutes. Je sais, Anders Fanders, Jon Ekström et Martin Molin, les trois membres de ce groupe désormais installé à Göteborg, sont légèrement plus vieux que Zach Condon (alias Beirut). Mais je sais autre chose : ils sont bien plus intéressants que lui.
PS : pas besoin de chercher : Detektivbyran n’a réalisé aucun single, EP ou album. C’est un tout nouveau groupe !
