Love is a burning thing could be taxed as an “electro-rock” band, but their music sounds much much better than any other “electro-rock” band in the world. In 2006, I wrote how irresistible was their song Dancer on a chair. I repeated it through the years here and there and never changed my mind. But I was affraid they would never match such a level. Good news: Go back to your cave proves two things: Love is a burning thing is not a one-hit wonder and is one of the few bands which know how to rock and make you dance at the same time. Definitely in my top ten favourite Swedish bands.

Pour mes compatriotes français
En 2006, j’écrivais combien leur morceau Dancer on a chair était irrésistible. Je l’ai répété au fil des ans ici et là et n’ai jamais changé d’avis. Mais je craignais qu’ils ne retrouvent jamais un tel niveau. Bonne nouvelle : Go back to your cave prouve deux choses : Love is a burning thing dispose désormais de deux hits incontournables et constitue l’un des rares groupes à réussir à la fois à jouer du rock et à faire danser. Assurément dans le top 10 de mes groupes suédois préférés.
NB : Go back to your cave sortira officiellement le 1er avril. Il s’agit du premier single de leur premier disque prévu pour bientôt. Allez donc faire un tour ici!
