When Absolut Noise will be dead, one thing will remain: it will be the first audioblog to have mentionned Dear Euphoria, aka Elina Johansson. My first post dedicated to her was written back in the beginning of September 2006. Nearly five years ago. Until then, I have mentionned her a lot and even gave her my favourite album thing in 2009. My point? Everything she touches is golden.
Therefore, when Elina sent me Koko’s If I could win, you can imagine I paid attention. This brand new band is actually a project of Dear Euphoria’s producer Sven Johansson: he launched Koko with his buddy Emil Lundgren. Johan Ivansson (Tove Styrke, Erik Hassle) gave them a hand to help them to record an album called K:O.
I did not hear the whole record yet, but if every song is as good as the very subaquatic If I could win, it might turn out to be a very very strong record.
