Hurrah! Hurrah! They’re back. With their simplicity, enthusiasm and funny songs titles, Bring me the fucking riot… man has always been one of my favourite Swedish band since their catchy Lolita Riotta. I remember seeing them live in Popaganda, in Stockholm, back in 2004: probably the best Swedish gig I saw. The only one with a truly unsane audience.
Five years after their second record, Disco Avant-Garde NO! (my review here), here they go again with a new album « Solidarity Died And So Did We » that Selective notes will release on the 16th of April. First single: There Is Something Wrong In your Head. Your Brain Is Dead out on March 19.
The sound is more pop than before, but still totally crazy. Also, I remember someone told me one of the guy from this band used to be a chef on the Swedish TV. I wish it was true. I guess it is.
