Have you ever wondered how it would be if Johnny Cash were Swedish, if he just made an EP called Underground and was about to release a debut album called All The Time In The World next 3rd of September on his own label? Well, I have not and I guess you have not neither. But this is however the best sum up I could find for Jonas Carping, aka « the guy with the loud voice ». The result is amazing.

Please listen to the whole EP in this post (and download his song Märk Hur Vår Skugga, the one with Swedish lyrics), you will hear that blues & folk suit quite well to Sweden as well. It is probably too early to state if this EP is just a brilliant one shot or if this guy has a whole album as powerful and moving in his pocket. But honestly, it’s been a while since a new Swedish artist strikes me like that.
