I’m confused. I missed it. Third and latest Bring me the fucking riot… man record called Solidarity Died and So Did We was released back in April and I did not mention it in this blog. A shame! Ok, I did write a post about the first single There Is Something Wrong In your Head. Your Brain Is Dead from this album. But the whole piece, damn, I totally missed it.
Make no mistake, those guys do not only have 100% umbelievable song titles like Bob Hund, Will You Please Give Me Your Autograph You Can Write It On My Right Arm Just Below My Tribal Tattoo or My Best Friend Stole My Privacy and Gave It Away to Facebook. I’m In Chock!. They are also the sharpest, simpliest and funniest Swedish rock band.
All their albums, their great debut, their second one or this latest one are some must have. Unfortunately, it seems there will not be any other ones since the guys called it quit and played their latest gig ever at Debaser Slussen on the 30th of August. But there are so many questions left like WTF with this bowling video? Will the movie Jens just shot will be a hit? (yes, a movie, a real one). And how about this last single in Swedish Solidariteten dog och vi med den that is actually the translation of the title of their third one ?.
Yes, I’m confused and would need a statement: is Bring me the fucking riot… man definitely over? And if it is, who the hell can be as fresh, direct and punkish as them in Sweden?
