Bright eyes
Now the fucking riot has gone away, how about a Restless Riot? No punk here, more some Bright Eyes spirit. Actually, those Swedes do sound quite much like what mister Conor Oberst used to cook at his beginnings. Obviously, this is the main limit of their debut record Leaving the circus: I cannot help thinking about Bright Eyes when I listen to it and unfortunately the American will remain, whatever they do, the original.
However, how long has it been since Bright Eyes release a true great album? Ages? And if Restless Riot does not reinvent the wheel of music, their record gives us some nice music to listen to when winter will come and we will snuggle up against the fireplace. So, all in all, the band deserves some attention. I will keep an eye on them…
